Sloan’s Lake Park

At 177 acres, Sloan’s Lake Park is the second largest park in Denver (after City Park). There are endless possibilities on how to use the park include hiking, jogging and bicycling on the trails and sidewalks that surround the lake, fishing and boating on the lake itself, and afternoon picnics with mountain and city views.

The park hosts many events, including the annual event Dragon Boat Festival, which attracts thousands of visitors each summer to celebrate Asian American culture.

Being so close to Denver, Sloan’s Lake Park is definitely a family friendly getaway from the fast pace of the city down the road.
