The day of a Real Estate agent can be exhausting: showings, meetings, closings… Even if you know that Social Media can be a great lead provider, it may not be easy to find the time to post relevant content. Here are 5 tips to help you build a good Social Media strategy!
1. Define What Platform You Want To Use
They are a lot. Website, blog, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Linkedin, Pinterest… The best would be to use them all, but as a Real Estate agent, your agenda may be quite full. Focusing on a Website or Blog and a Facebook Page is usually a good start. Instagram and Youtube can also be powerful tools, especially for the Millenials (or first time Home Buyers) who are more interested in visual content.
2. Create a Facebook Business Page
If you chose Facebook as one of your tool, you might want to separate your personal and private profile. You don’t want your new client to know you spent last summer in Italy, right?
3. Post Regularly
Once you are comfortable with the platform(s) you chose, don’t forget to post regularly. You need to interact with your community few times a week for your strategy to be effective. If you use 3 platforms but cannot post more than once a week, reduce it to 2 platforms. The more you post, the better it is for your SEO!
4. Find the Influencers
Look for the Real Estate influencers: they post great content that can inspire you.
5. Do Not Give Up
Building a community can be long. You will need time before people follow you or like your content.
